For your convenience, MAWSS provides two options for establishing new residential service.

By Phone - Call the Customer Service Center at (251) 694-3130 Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
In the Office - The offices are located at 207 North Catherine Street, just off Springhill Avenue and 4725-B Moffett Road in the Park Forest Plaza Shopping Center. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
 
The following are required before new residential service can be provided:

A deposit ($100.00 minimum).

A service charge:
($30.00 - if service is to start the next working day or later). ($60.00 - if service is to start the same working day).

Other charges may also apply.
Deposit and service charge are due upon receipt of "ON" request. Payments can be made by check or credit/debit card.

A copy of your picture identification.
A completed "New Service Request Form." This form can be downloaded by selecting the "New service request form" link at the bottom of this page or by calling the Customer Service Center at (251) 694-3130.
 
Other items that may also be required are:

A copy of the deed or lease agreement.

Two proofs of service from Alabama Power and Mobile Gas.
Someone must be on the premises to sign the Work Order for services to be turned on.

DISCONNECTING SERVICE
