Big Creek Lake Resource Alliance
The Big Creek Resource Alliance is a cooperative effort of the Alabama Coastal Foundation and Mobile Area Water & Sewer System (MAWSS). The goal is to bring together stakeholders including local land owners and federal, state and local agencies that recognize the importance of the Big Creek Lake Watershed and develop programs to protect it. Working together will help preserve this important water supply source, its floodplain and habitat.
The purpose of the Big Creek Resource Alliance is to provide a strategy to encourage, sustain and improve environmental quality in the Big Creek Lake watershed. The Big Creek Resource Alliance has been formed to build cooperative partnerships between area businesses and residents.
