| 1) | How do I sign up to pay my bill online? | To speed your enrollment, have your paper bill, banking information, and an email address available. Enrollment will take just a few minutes. |
| 2) | When will my new MAWSS ID and password be activated? | Your MAWSS ID and password are active immediately following enrollment. |
| 3) | How do I enroll additional accounts? | To add additional accounts, select the Customer Care tab at the top of the screen or call contact Customer Service at (251) 694-3130. |
| 4) | What happens to scheduled payments if I delete that account from my enrollment? | Scheduled payments will still be processed. If you do not want this to happen, you should cancel any scheduled payments prior to canceling your enrollment. |
| 5) | When can I start making payments? | Once enrolled, you can start making payments as soon as you have a bill due. If you have a new account, you will not be able to enroll or make electronic payments until you receive your first paper bill. |
| 6) | Will I continue to receive a paper bill in the mail? | Customer will receive email notification or a printed bill but not both. If you are a new customer, suppressing the paper bills can be specified at enrollment. If you are an existing customer, suppressing the paper bills can be specified in "My Profile". |

| 1) | How is my personal and financial information kept safe? | Several methods are used by eBilling to ensure that your information is secure: * MAWSS ID and Password: Your MAWSS ID and Password are unique identifiers that only you know. As long as you don't share your MAWSS ID and password with anyone, no one can view your bills or personal information. * SSL: eBilling uses SSL (secure socket layers) which ensures that your connection and information are secure from outside inspection. * Encryption: eBilling uses 128 bit encryption to make your information unreadable as it passes over the Internet. * Automatic Sign Out: eBilling automatically signs you out of a session if you are inactive for 20 minutes. |
| 2) | Are all computers safe to use? | The Computer security industry advises that you may put your information at risk when you use a public computer for
personal business. While MAWSS uses numerous security measures to protect your personal information on our website, the use of public computers may compromise
the security of your information. Public computers include those in schools, libraries, Internet Café's, etc. For maximum security you may want to avoid using public computers when enrolling or modifying your personal or banking information. |

| 1) | What types of payment are accepted? | Currently, the only acceptable form of eBill payment is check. |
| 2) | How do I make a payment? | The eBilling MAWSS Home page will display summary information about your current bill and the prior two bills. To pay a bill, check that bill's box under the "Pay Now" button, and then click on the "Pay Now" button. |
| 3) | Should I continue to pay my MAWSS bill by mailing in a check until I receive my first email? | Once your account is registered, you can login and make an electronic payment via a check. |
| 4) | Is there a fee associated with online bill payment? | Currently, there is no fee for using online bill payment. |
| 5) | How can I print a copy of my bill over the internet? | After login, click "My Payments" from the top banner menu. Click the account number of the bill that should be printed. When the bill is displayed, click on the printer icon at the top right corner of the bill. |
| 6) | Can partial payments be made online? | No. Partial payments will not be permitted online. |
| 7) | Can I pay a delinquent bill online? | Yes. Delinquent bill payment will be allowed up to 48 hours prior to the due date. Payments initiated after the due date shown on your bill may lead to interruption of water and sewer service. Please initiate payments two days prior to your payment due date. |
| 8) | When is my MAWSS payment due? | Payment for a MAWSS bill is due upon receipt of the bill. |
| 9) | Can I view all of my accounts online? | Yes. All accounts registered can be viewed online. Upon completion of the login, the "MAWSS HOME" page is displayed. From there, go to 'My Bills" to view up to 4 months of bills. |
| 10) | Can I establish regularly scheduled payments? | Yes. Click "My Payments" on the top menu and then "My Recurring Payments". On the My Recurring Payments page, click "Add Recurring Payment". Or click "My Profile" on the top menu and then "My Recurring Payments" on the My Profile page. |
| 11) | When will my payment be processed? | To initiate the online payment process, you must select a payment date on the "My Payments" page. This is the date your payment process will begin. Payments initiated after the due date shown on your bill may lead to interruption of water and sewer service. Please initiate payments two days prior to your payment due date. |
| 12) | How do I know which payments I've scheduled or completed? | After paying a bill, you will receive confirmation that the payment has been "scheduled" under "Status" on the "My Payments" page. When the scheduled payment is submitted, the "Status" will shown "pending".After the payment transaction is validated, the "Status" will show "approved" or "rejected". |
| 13) | How can I confirm if my payment has been processed? | The best way to see if your payment has been made is to check your payment status. Once logged in, select "My Payments" from the top banner menu. Click on the arrow next to "Status" and select "approved" and click the "Go" button. This will show all payments you have made to date. |
| 14) | What happens to scheduled payments if I delete the bank account that was used to set up the payment? | All scheduled payments will be cancelled if their status is "scheduled." You must make other arrangements to pay this bill. |
| Personal Information | ||
| 1) | What if I forget my MAWSS ID or password? | MAWSS ID: You should choose a MAWSS ID that is easy for you to remember. If you forget your MAWSS ID please contact
Customer Care. Password: If you forget your password, go to the Login page and click "Click here if you forgot your password.". Enter your MAWSS ID and your password will be emailed to the email address you provided during enrollment. |
| 2) | How do I change my name, address, phone number, or email? | To change your personal information, select the "My Profile" from the top of the menu. |
| 3) | How do I change my bank account information? | Once you've signed into eBilling, click "My Profile", select "My Checking" Account, and select "My Payment Accounts". Then, make the necessary changes. Since you must have at least one active bank account in order to remain enrolled eBilling, you must add a second account before deleting one. |

| 1) | What software do I need to use eBilling? | You can access eBilling from any web based computer with an Internet connection and a web browser that supports 128 bit encryption. |
