Mobile Area Water & Sewer System (MAWSS) responded to a wastewater overflow on August 4, 2025, at 685 Schillinger Rd. S (Thomas Rd. Side). Approximately 255 gallons of wastewater overflowed into Second Creek because of a break on a force main. MAWSS crews repaired the force main and have taken the necessary steps to prevent future overflows at this location. The overflow was discovered by MAWSS crews while responding to a SCADA fault.
