BOARD OF WATER AND SEWER COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF MOBILE (BOARD) MOBILE AREA WATER AND SEWER SYSTEM (MAWSS)

Notice is hereby given by the Board of Water and Sewer Commissioners of the City of Mobile, Alabama, that a public hearing will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 1:30 P.M. local time, at MAWSS Park Forest Plaza, 4725 Moffett Road, Mobile, AL, for the purpose of hearing input, if any, to the adoption of the 2026 Operation and Maintenance Budget and proposed changes to the Policy and Procedure Manual of MAWSS. The 2026 budget includes a rate and fee adjustment. The increase is needed to repair and replace aging infrastructure, and to protect public health and the environment. Any recommended adjustments to the budget will be discussed at that time.

All interested parties may submit questions or any comments on the adoption of the 2026 budget during the meeting. A copy of the proposed budget may be viewed below.
