MAWSS Announces 2026 Holiday Schedule
Mobile, AL – The Mobile Area Water and Sewer System (MAWSS) has released its official holiday schedule for 2026. MAWSS offices and customer service centers will be closed on the following dates in observance of federal and local holidays:
January 1, 2026 (Thursday) – New Year’s Day
January 19, 2026 (Monday) – Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day
February 16–17, 2026 (Monday & Tuesday) – Mardi Gras
May 25, 2026 (Monday) – Memorial Day
June 19, 2026 (Friday) – Juneteenth
September 7, 2026 (Monday) – Labor Day
November 11, 2026 (Wednesday) – Veterans Day
November 26–27, 2026 (Thursday & Friday) – Thanksgiving Holiday
December 24–25, 2026 (Thursday & Friday) – Christmas Holiday
MAWSS reminds customers that essential operations will continue uninterrupted during all holidays. Customers may still access online bill payment and account services at www.mawss.com or by using the new payment kiosk center (Old Wells Fargo Bank) outside the MAWSS Park Forest location.
For emergencies such as water leaks or sewer backups, MAWSS crews are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Customers can report issues by calling (251) 694-3165.
